Nobody lives in DC because of the weather--it's hot in the summer and cool in the winter, so a band has to be both hot and cool. This was a special day, 98 degrees Fahrenheit and more at lunchtime. The crowd hung under the patio umbrellas and under any shade trees they could find in the Plaza, and some even found the energy to dance.
